I am personally running for Judge of Elections, and for those that are actually getting involved from volunteering at the polls, to becoming Judge of Elections in your community, I would like to offer any assistance so we can take this journey together.
I want to know how the Integrity of the Vote is maintained, and if there are rigid change control and accountability procedures on how the data is stored and utilized locally. So far all I have received are avoidance of these questions from the Director of Elections in my area, and I hope that the same questions I have, you also present to your local area.
Corruption has to be exposed, if there are operations behind the scenes, if FOIA requests are needed, we should know how the local vote is being handled. The officials themselves need to be held accountable.
Judge of Elections is an unpaid position, but it is necessary, and if you are interested in how to review rolls, I am building up the reviews and procedures as I go through this journey. The area I am in is Purple, whether I win or lose, I am putting my name in to learn and protect the vote – as well as find the process to share with everyone in the community.
