The U.S. national debt has now surpassed $39 trillion — with roughly $8.4–8.5 trillion added during the four years of Democratic control from 2021 to 2025. That’s more new debt than most presidents added in a full eight-year term, even as inflation spiked and many working families faced higher costs for housing, groceries, and energy with limited lasting gains in return.
Over 10 million southwest border encounters were recorded by CBP from fiscal year 2021 through the end of the Biden-Harris administration — a scale larger than the population of 41 individual U.S. states. During that same period, fentanyl-related overdose deaths reached record highs (peaking above 70,000 annually in 2022–2023), while veteran homelessness, though improved from earlier decades, remained a persistent challenge amid broader strains on housing and public resources.
Approximately 96–98% of Ivy League faculty political donations go to Democrats (based on FEC filings and recent university-specific analyses, with some schools like Yale showing 97.6% in 2025 and zero to Republicans). Similarly, surveys consistently show that a strong majority (often 90%+) of journalists in major newsrooms identify as liberal or lean left. When academia and mainstream media overwhelmingly favor one ideological perspective, relying solely on them is risky — seeking out primary sources, raw data, and opposing viewpoints becomes basic due diligence for informed citizens.
