First of all – if you are unsure about your eternal destiny, and the thought of death and hopeless despair lingers over you, I advise you to repent of your sins, and come before God and receive forgiveness through what Jesus has done on the Cross. If you find yourself not able to do the right things that honor God, pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you, and allow you to learn from the Bible and draw power to live for God. When you surrender your life to God, to Jesus, then life takes a fuller turn and is able to counter the natural inclination of man to create idols and self destruct.
Your life, your family, your community starts to change as you follow Jesus and you will need help – so you will need to find a local church where the Word of God is the authority and authentic followers of Christ are found. Little by little, things will change – but know that as your persevere and finish the race – God has a crown of glory for his children.
All that we do in this life is to Glorify God – if you try to save your life, or live your life for yourself – you will most definitely lose it – but what Jesus promised is if you lose your life for the Gospel, you will save it – because the Lord is your Lord and commander and you all under his grace to live a life to overflow to reach out and not live for the perishing things.
