Wisconsin should consider the ramifications of future elections by auditing the vote. Without knowing and confirming what was done, corrective actions can not be made. Without the due diligence of the Legislature using it’s authority to insure integrity, each citizen’s vote is made worthless if the vote is not audited. Auditing is not a recount, auditing is making sure the vote was conducted in accordance to guidelines so graft did not occur, and the tolerances for error did not occur. Your vote needs to be fought for, and if your elected officials are breaching this trust, the only option is to ask why, conduct investigations, and hold these officials and their families responsible, since there should be a money or blackmail paper trail to be found in most cases.
